I enjoyed this activity. Look, look, I even found a practical application for the trading card generator. Liesl took over my book baby program for last week on short (very short, one might even say nonexistent) notice. So I made her this card. Next time she doesn't feel up to book baby I'll take care of it.

This whole trading card generator reminds me of an idea my friend and I had when we worked at the Marriott Library. We were going to make staff trading cards. We took pictures of everyone and I even kept stats on myself for two weeks (# of check-ins/outs, #of books shelved, dollar amount of fines collected, plus a bunch of other stats I don't remember). Eventually the project ran out of steam as a result of a combination of apathy and lack of ability to create an interesting template for the cards, if only this flickr trading card maker had existed back then.

I also made a second card w/ our department logo from the basketball tournament last summer. Super rad!
